CT Scan, passing out - a big week

Sooooo ... Big week.

I dropped unconscious in the office at Peninsula Hot Springs last
Tuesday for 3-4 minutes, went blue. They suspected stroke, called ambulance.
I woke bewildered that 8 people were looking concerned and telling me to
get to hospital, but otherwise fine.
98 per cent of us suspected it was a grand mal/general seizure - my
first in 18 years of living with petit mal epilepsy, but to be expected one
day. I was to see a neurologist this Wednesday, to reassess the whole TLE
thing, and probably be prescribed something to stop it happening again -
then get on with it.

Friday results of a CT scan revealed that in fact the issue was a brain tumour.

Small - right temporal lobe. Most likely quite operable. That's all
I know so far. I see a Neurosurgeon tomorrow morning 9am.

Next hike not altogether shelved, but I flag a potential speed bump: with
irony behind the fact that these walks among the good stuff shouldn't ever be
postponed for the very reason that this sort of B grade drama can come up any
time.
